This page is maintained by Sitter Squad and sets the rules for using the Sitter Squad app and website. It is a legal agreement between you and the app owner, not a certification or third-party guarantee.
Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of terms
By downloading, accessing, or using Sitter Squad, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. What Sitter Squad is
Sitter Squad is a platform that helps teenagers organize and promote babysitting clubs. We provide tools for scheduling, profiles, reviews, and communication. We are not a babysitting agency, employer, or insurance provider. Sitter Squad does not hire sitters or guarantee bookings.
3. Who can use the app
The app is intended for teenagers who provide babysitting services and the parents or guardians who hire them. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the app. Users must be at least 13 years old. Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising their teen's use of the app.
4. Accounts and responsibilities
You are responsible for keeping your account password and device secure. You must provide accurate information. You may not create fake profiles, impersonate others, or use the app for harassment, fraud, or illegal activity. Club founders are responsible for the members they invite and the content they post about their club.
5. Payments
Sitter Squad is free to start today. In the future, we may add optional paid features or services. If we do, we will clearly explain the cost before any charge is made. All payments for babysitting are currently handled directly between parents and sitters outside the app, unless we later enable in-app payments.
6. Safety and conduct
Babysitting involves real responsibility. Sitters should follow local laws, only accept jobs they are prepared for, and communicate with parents honestly. Parents should verify sitter credentials, provide emergency contacts, and disclose any special needs or safety concerns. Sitter Squad includes an incident log for quick safety documentation, but it does not replace emergency services or adult supervision.
7. Content and ownership
You keep ownership of the photos and text you upload. By uploading content, you give us permission to display it within the app so that parents and other users can see it. We may remove content that violates these terms or that we reasonably believe is unsafe or inappropriate.
8. Termination
You can stop using the app at any time. We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms, create safety risks, or remain inactive for a long period. Ownership of a club may expire or transfer according to the rules shown in the app.
9. Disclaimers
The app is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that the app will always be available, error-free, or completely secure. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of babysitting services arranged through the app. All arrangements are between the sitter and the parent.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Sitter Squad and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to incidents that occur during a babysitting job.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sitter Squad from claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the app, your content, or any babysitting service you provide or arrange.
12. Governing law
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States of America, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of Sitter Squad will be resolved in the courts of Texas, USA.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by email. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.
